Founded in 2019, OUTLOUD began as a grassroots initiative rooted in community engagement, advocacy, and empowerment. In January 2025, we expanded our impact by launching OUTLOUD DE Inc.—a dynamic, youth-centered nonprofit based in Delaware.

 

OUTLOUD DE was established to amplify the voices of young people and bridge the gap between civic engagement and community transformation. Rooted in principles of service and self-care, our nonprofit arm is founded on the belief in the transformative power of collective healing and the strength that arises from community support.

 

Our journey has always been grounded in a deep commitment to inclusivity, representation, and meaningful collaboration. OUTLOUD DE was created to address the lack of equitable youth engagement spaces and to build pathways for leadership, advocacy, and lasting impact. Since our founding, we’ve worked alongside local leaders, schools, nonprofits, and community members to ensure that young voices are not just heard—but centered—in the fight for social change.

From hosting youth leadership summits and facilitating mentorship programs to offering technical assistance to youth-serving organizations, our work is as diverse and dynamic as the communities we serve. We specialize in developing innovative strategies that uplift community voices, promote equitable systems, and cultivate the next generation of leaders.

 

Our story is still unfolding. As we continue to grow, we remain grounded in our founding values—Liberation, Optimism, Unity, and Devotion. These principles guide every step we take as we create inclusive spaces that nurture personal and collective growth.
